5th Grade Mathematics

Scholars will continue the study of mathematics as prescribed by New York State and our district K-5 math curriculum. Instruction in the five strands includes: Algebra, Geometry, Measurement,  Number Sense and Operations, and Statistics and Probability. Problem solving will be stressed through these strands.

6th Grade Mathematics

Scholars will continue the study of mathematics as prescribed by New York State and our districts K-6 math curriculum. Instruction in the five strands includes: numbers and numeration; operations with whole numbers; operations with fractions; operations with decimals; exposure to calculators and computer technology; introduction to integers; geometry; measurement; statistics and probability. Problem solving will be stressed through these strands.
